This state-approved 38-hour course includes everything you need to complete your driver education. This course is required if you are under 18 years old. You must be at least 14 years and 9 months old to take this class and cannot start behind-the-wheel driving lessons until you are 15 years old. 

• 30 hours of classroom instruction
• 8 hours of one-on-one behind-the-wheel driving instruction
• OMV written exam

The state requires all students who have never held a permit to get a TIP (Temporary Instructional Permit) from the DMV before attending class. Learn more at www.expresslane.org.

Be sure to enter your TIP (permit registration info) on the registration page. 

The TIP card is not needed for registration, but they will need it on the first day of class.

The state-approved written test will be given on the final day of class. A score of 70% or higher is required to pass and schedule driving instruction.

Proper footwear is required (i.e. no flip flops, sandals, slides, or high heels). Failing to wear proper shoes will be counted as a no-show and the student will be charged $50.

A minimum of four students registrations are needed to hold a class. We will contact you to reschedule if your class is cancelled.

Non-refundable registration fee $100. There is a $5 online registration fee in addition to the course fee. We accept cash, credit cards and checks. If no deposit is paid, your registration will be deleted from our system after eight days. ( The $105 deposit is included with the full price of tuition)

Parents can attend A non-mandatory  welcome class to get information, present valid state identification, and sign paperwork before class begins. You receive information about this meeting via email as it is announced.

***The 38 hour course does not include the Road Skills Test, that is a separate course and fee for students who will be eligible upon the 38 Hour Course completion.***

Take one-on-one driving lessons to assess your skills before the road test, work on a specific maneuver, or just gain more experience driving. The two-hour driving lesson is with a certified driving instructor. Proper footwear is required (i.e. no flip flops, sandals, slides, or high heels).

This course consists of eight hours of behind-the-wheel lessons. There are four lessons; each lesson is two hours.

This course is intended for students who have already completed the 30-hour classroom (14.9-17 years old) or 6-hour classroom (18 and older) course with a different certified driving school. An original copy of your certificate of completion with the previous driving school will be required to take this course.
